Describe A popular person
Describe a popular person.
You should say:
• Who this person is
• What kind of person he or she is
• When you see him/her normally
• And explain why you think this person is popular
You will have to talk about the topic for 1 to 2 minutes. You have 1 minute to think about what you are going to say. You can make some notes to help you if you wish.
The person I’d choose is my university classmate Leo. He’s the kind of socially fluent person who somehow knows half the faculty and still remembers everyone’s coffee order. I bump into him most weekday evenings at the student union, where he hosts a debate club. What makes him popular isn’t loud charisma alone—he listens carefully, includes quieter members, and never weaponises gossip. That mix of warmth and reliability is rare, so people naturally gravitate toward him.
gravitates toward:被吸引靠近
weaponises gossip:利用八卦伤人
socially fluent:善于社交的
