Describe A shopping mall
Describe a shopping mall.
You should say:
• What its name is
• Where it is
• How often you visit it
• And what you usually buy at the mall
You will have to talk about the topic for 1 to 2 minutes. You have 1 minute to think about what you are going to say. You can make some notes to help you if you wish.
The shopping mall that immediately springs to mind is One Avenue, a sprawling upscale retail complex nestled in the core of Shenzhen's Futian district, merely two subway stops away from my workplace. I pop in roughly twice a week, either on weekday evenings after work to unwind, or on Saturday afternoons to run errands. Most frequently, I head to the high-end organic supermarket on the basement level to stock up on pasture-raised eggs, seasonal produce and artisanal bread for the week ahead. On other occasions, I browse the independent designer boutiques on the second floor for unique accessories, or treat myself to a tasting menu at the Michelin-recommended Sichuan restaurant on the top floor when I have something to celebrate. What I love most about it is that it caters to all my needs in one spot, so I never have to trek across the city for different errands.
