Describe An enjoyable evening you had with your friends

Last mid-October, I spent a thoroughly delightful evening with three of my closest university flatmates at a tiny, fairy-lit outdoor bistro tucked along the west bank of West Lake in Hangzhou. We’d gathered to celebrate one friend’s job offer at her dream sustainable design firm. We started with spiced pear cider and shared plates of truffle fries and grilled mushrooms, then wandered along the lake shore as the sun dipped below the hills. A serendipitous encounter with a busker playing 2010s indie tracks had us all singing off-key while we sat on a weathered wooden bench. Later, we huddled by the water to feed a group of stray cats, and spent hours reminiscing about silly dorm pranks and brainstorming our next group trip. What made it so enjoyable was the effortless rapport we still shared, even though we’d been scattered across different cities for two years. The crisp autumn air and low-key, unplanned moments made it feel far more special than any fancy night out.
